Simon joined Urban Splash in 2004 to deliver the regeneration of Lister Mills, Bradford, and to develop the company in the Yorkshire region; he has since been responsible for the delivery of a number of major Urban Splash projects including Lister Mills, Bradford; Saxton, Leeds and the Stirling Prize shortlisted Park Hill, Sheffield. Now as the company’s MD, Simon has been at the helm of Urban Splash’s modular operations, overseeing two significant deals in the past 12 months; the first in which the company vertically integrated its modular factory operations into its core business and, this summer, the £90m deal which brought Japan’s biggest housebuilder Sekisui House to the UK. Prior to those, Simon was responsible for the delivery of the Kickstart projects creating 700 new homes across the country; he led the Urban Splash portfolio sale to Places for People in 2013 and was integral in the establishment up of the company’s longstanding and successful joint venture partnership with Places for People.
