The RESI App – How to Guide

Check in and connect to maximise your networking opportunities at the RESI Convention 2018

First, make sure you’re logged in! If you are a registered delegate, sponsor/exhibitor or speaker, you should have received an email detailing how to log in.

To log in, tap the icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Log in or sign up for an account.

Manage your profile

After you have logged in, tap on the icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap the gear icon near the top left to edit your profile.

You can choose to add information here: we recommend adding some details so other users will choose to network with you!

Connect with users

Tap on the ‘check in and connect’ feature in the main menu. At the bottom of the screen, tap to check in! You will now be listed and visible to other users. Tap on a user’s name to view their profile. At the bottom of the screen, tap to connect!

What can I do with my connections?

Once a person has accepted your invitation to connect, you will be able to view their profile and contact details. These connections will be stored and visible from your account (top right corner of the screen)

To send messages

You will be able to network with other app users by sending and receiving instant messages, book meetings and share comments. In order to send an instant message, click the menu icon, click messaging and then click on the name of the person you want to send a message to.
You can block any abusive users by swiping right. Even if they still message you won’t be able to view the messages

Can others view my personal information?

App users can only view the information you provide on your profile if you have accepted their invitation to connect, or if you have chosen to send them an invitation to connect.

Creating a RESI schedule, adding sessions and meetings to the calendar

You can create your own RESI schedule by clicking the menu icon, clicking 'my schedule' and then clicking the + sign.

To take notes on sessions and send notes to your email account

To take notes on sessions, simply click on the session and then click on the notes icon. Once you save your note it will appear in your notes page in the app. 

You can export all your notes to your email account by clicking on the 'share' icon in the top right corner on the notes page.
